There is no way you will get that size loan with your score. You may get something around $2,000 if you make weekly payments.

  • Reena says:

No, you can’t get a loan with a score of 494.

And you know that, don’t you?

Why do I get the feeling that you posted this ridiculous question so your scam and spam buddies can answer with their referrals to their web pages and bogus sites?

I hate to tell you this, but you are not going to get approved. My credit is similiar to yours and if you do not have a hefty down payment, you might as well forget about it. Your best bet, and I know it sucks, is to go through one of those buy here, pay here car lots like Car Mart. Their cars are older and usually high mileage, but at least it is something to get you around. Just be warned, they don’t report on your credit. *I know, because I paid for a 9000.00 car in hopes of building my credit and they didn’t report it.* Also, you are looking at approximately 20% interest.

Only other way you can get into a newer car is to have someone put it in their name, pay on it for a year or so and refinance it in your name.

The reason a loan company can help a person get an automobile loan quickly is because they will take your credit score into consideration and thus offer a loan plan which will suit your needs. What these companies actually do is they cater precisely to the needs of various borrowers. This allows for even a bad credit score borrower to apply for an automobile loan provided that the company finds them suitable.

There is no one "best" or "cheapest" carrier. You’ll have to call around, give your social security number to have a credit check, give them the vehicle information, and get a bunch of quotes to figure out which carrier is cheapest FOR YOU

Financed cars is more expensive to insurance cause it requires full coverage. You can compare how much you would pay for full coverage of this car using this tool – carinsurance.yoll.net

A 494 is a very low score, without significant down payment or co-signer you will not be approved for a $16,000 loan. You are better off getting a secured credit card and working on your credit history while saving up for a down payment. Once you’ve got a small down payment saved, get a small car loan and continue establishing your credit history that way. Once you have a positive payment history, your credit score will rise accordingly. You will be far closer to getting a vehicle loan of that size at that time.
